Wave Attenuation System Specifications

WaveEater Model 3636 is molded from Linear Low Density Polyethylene. Molded into it's core is a High Density 50% recycled Polyethylene 2" (5cm) ID tube which provides a bearing surface for the cable. The units are fitted with a 2" (5cm) threaded fill hole and come with a PVC plug. There is also the option of a 3/4" (1.9cm) drain plug if seasonal removal is required. When filled 2/3 with water, approximate suspended weight is 500lbs (220kg).

WaveEater model 1224 is molded in the same manner as the 3636, but has no tube through the core. The ID is 5/8" (1.6cm) and comes with a 3/4" (1.9cm) fill hole and nylon threaded plug. When filled 2/3 with water, approximate suspended weight is 56lbs (25kg).

Note: Water buoyancy reduces suspended weight by approximately 40%.
